About Me

I’m an experienced art director, applied artist and app/web developer, working in and around Vancouver BC since 1996. I’ve received certificates from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the Vancouver Film School (VFS) in graphic design, applied web development, applied web application software development, applied computer information systems, and multimedia. And I’ve gained experience in many roles including: art director, designer, producer, developer, project manager and marketer in design, marketing and publishing companies around the city. I am currently working mainly as a freelance art director and designer specializing in editorial design and mobile development.

I also have some experience in: marketing, video and film production, videography, screenwriting, songwriting, broadcast television, stage management, music and performance (voice, piano, guitar, flute, violin, latin percussion instruments, etc), etc.

I’m a certified member (CGD) of the GDC (Society of Graphic Designers of Canada), and a member of SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada), as well as a past member of WIFTV and VACA.

In my spare time I enjoys a variety of hobbies, always changing, currently including photography, sewing, writing, cooking and ballroom dancing.
